Khalaad Hadeel is a modern serif font with a refined appearance. The font avoids any overwhelming decorative elements and keeps the look simple. It is designed by Majid Al-Otaibi by keeping in mind the design needs for both Arabic and Latin character languages. The font offers an extensive set of characters and glyphs comprising 454 and 458, respectively. However, the aesthetics of Arabic and Latin characters are quite different, which is a unique feature of a font. The Arabic part has circular letters with rounded edges, whereas the Latin letters have a sharp appearance with small serifs at the ends for a modern and neat outlook. Arabic characters have solid strokes and consistent thickness, while Latin characters have varying thicknesses with a bit of delicate stroke.
Despite having a diverse nature, it is only available in a single weight, limiting its flexibility. The letters are monospaced, which means they are evenly spaced apart, allowing for easy reading even at smaller sizes. Because of its contrasting design, this typeface works well with all kinds of text. It is suitable for print and digital applications, like long text paragraphs in newspapers, formal documents, presentations, or graphic projects like posts, flyers, and posters. Also, it supports various languages, such as Arabic, Urdu, Latin, and Persian, making it suitable for projects with different languages. The compliance with the latest Unicode blocks like Basic Latin, Arabic, and General Punctuation allows it to be used in projects with modern needs.
