Abbas

Abbas is a modern Arabic calligraphy font carefully crafted by Syed Manzar Hasan Zaidi and released for use on March 15, 2016. It is a trademark of Axis SoftMedia Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Mumbai, India since 2008. The font has Nastaliq Foundation but with subtle irregularity that adds a personal touch to it. However, it deviates from both a little with its freestyle nature. The design is expressive and less rigid, with bold and thick strokes for impact. It features subtle embellishments and irregular and slanted letterforms for a handcrafted feel. Letters have uneven curves and variations, with a mix of rounded and angular shapes. Despite the irregularity, the font maintains good contrast and readability, even at smaller sizes. Abbas successfully combines traditional calligraphic influences with a modern twist, creating a unique and dynamic style that is both expressive and legible.
