Ahmed

Ahmed is a TrueType Arabic font, designed by Syed Manzar Hasan Zaidi and is known for its elegant appearance. It is a modern interpretation of Naskh script and was released under the copyrights of Axis SoftMedia Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India, in 2008. It has vast character set of 445 and 498 number of glyphs, giving enough room for design and compatibility with various languages including Arabic, Urdu, Persian, and more. It has a unique look with elongated letterforms and smooth corners. Spacing between the letters is constant; however, the thickness is contrasting, varying across edges and middle. Moreover, Ahmed is compatible with many latest Unicode blocks including Basic Latin, Arabic, General Punctuation, Currency Symbol, among others, which increases its appeal to designers.  Although it presents a clean look, these subtle design elements add an overall depth and interest to your text. Ahmed is perfect for the projects where emphasis and elegance are needed side by side such as invitations, formal documents, signage, and more. However, it is only available in regular font weight which kind of limits its usability.
