Assaf, designed by Assaf S. Algarn, is a wide and streamlined bold Persian font. It was released on July 21, 2018, by ZakDesign and iskyfalcons font foundries. Drawing inspiration from the Naskh calligraphy, it includes modern elements such as slanted edges, a compact baseline, and horizontal emphasis, resulting in a visually striking typeface. With 243 characters and 239 glyphs, the font easily integrates into different design tools to fulfill many typographic needs.
