Italic Outline Art is a modern and Artistic Urdu font with a unique appearance that sets it apart. It was commissioned by Microsoft and developed by Platinum Technology 96. This font is available free to download, and you can also access it in MS Word without even installing it. It presents the perfect blend of modern and traditional designs. If you look carefully, it is clear that this typeface has a direct influence from Naskh and Diwani scripts. The font has a hollow Qalam writing style with an Italic structure. What makes this font more interesting is its complex terminals. Its circular end curls inwards, making the text more difficult to understand if used in a smaller size. Though, it is available only in single weight (regular) which in some ways limits its use and flexibility.

Italic Outline Art is a decorative stencil font with delicate, messy strokes, making it best suited for creative projects rather than long text. Due to its unstructured and hollow nature, the font’s legibility is low, especially when used for large blocks of text, making it better for short captions, logos, T-shirt designs, or posters where artistic flair is needed.
