KacstFarsi is a versatile Arabic font crafted by KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology) and URW Design and Development. It is a handwritten font and was released under the GPL license. Drawing inspiration from the Naskh script with modern influences, it features plain, wide, handwritten letters with moderate thickness, offering a natural feel to the text. With changing thickness and delicate strokes, it delivers a clean and clear look, enhancing legibility on screens, even at small sizes. Its simple and spacious letters make it suitable for both short and long texts, catering to various design needs. Released in 2017, it comprises 445 characters and 459 glyphs, ensuring compatibility with Urdu, Arabic, Latin, Persian, and more languages.
