Irmug’s trademark XB Kayhan Sayeh is released under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. This font was originally designed for Mac OS X font technology and has been completely rebuilt and expanded to support Arabic, Dari, Kurdish, Pashto, Persian, Uyghur, Urdu, Uzbek, old Turkish (Ottoman), and new Turkish (Roman) using Microsoft Open Type (OT) technology for TrueType format and Apple Advanced Typography (AAT) technology. The font has a large character set of 712 letters and special symbols with 933 glyphs and support with Arabic, Latin, and Greek.
The letterforms are composed of thick, energetic outlines, creating a bold and playful presence. These outlines define the shape of the characters while leaving the interior empty, resulting in the hollow effect. The stroke thickness within the outlines is not uniform. It often tapers, becoming thinner towards the ends of certain strokes, adding to the dynamic and expressive feel of the font. Whether you are designing a logo, a website poster, attractive headings, or branding materials, this font is an excellent choice for a wide range of projects, expressing your ideas in an attention-grabbing way.
