AlQalam Ishtiaq

Rating
5/5

AlQalam Ishtiaq is a condensed calligraphic Urdu font that blends sophistication and elegance. It was designed by Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali Attari, a Pakistani calligrapher from Faisalabad, who named the font after his name. It is also easy to read in larger resolutions. However, the letters get fused when used at smaller resolutions. Thus limiting its usability to smaller texts. The font is based on Naskh script with varying curves, rounded for a few letters while sharp for others. The thickness of the font is uneven, giving it a natural Qalam writing look. Moreover, the curved circular edges of the font add more to its appeal. This font makes a statement or text beautiful and appealing without compromising its readability. It offers a character set consisting of 219 letters and a glyph count of 356, providing compatibility with various languages.
