PakType Naskh Basic

Pak Type Naskh Basic, designed by Lateef Sagar Shaikh, is a versatile font with a traditional yet modern appeal. Its design is plain and simple, enhancing its usability in literary projects rather than design. Released by Pakistani Typography, Arkandis, Arabeyes, Yahoo, and URW++, it offers- an extensive list of 910 characters and special symbols and 1550 glyphs, supporting Arabic, Latin, and Symbols across various Unicode blocks. Inspired by the Naskh script and Urdu Qalam writing, this font boasts a normal font-weight and medium width, ensuring high legibility. Its regular font style with filled letters and consistent thickness throughout, except for slightly thick edges in some characters, evokes the essence of Qalam writing.
