Sunia Rabica

Sunia Rabica is an Arabic face Latin or English font with compatibility with both Windows and MacOS. It is a bold Qalam writing font that displays the elegance of Arabic scripting despite being an English writing font. The font is trademarked by JS Studio and designed by font designer Joko Setiono. It features 284 characters and 250 glyphs to write in various languages such as Greek, Coptic, Hebrew, English and more. It has a bold weight and a medium (normal) width, giving it a striking look. The font supports a wide range of design applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Filmora, and more and includes a variety of symbols. However, it is available in only a single weight, so there is not much room for versatility in design.

Sunia Rabica has filled the letterform with sharp and pointy ends, giving it a command modern vibe. Due to its resemblance with Arabic scripts, specifically Naskh and Ruqqa, it can be used in announcements, posts, or branding that targets Arabic-speaking or native people. The letters are monospaced but a little condensed; therefore, it is not preferred to use the font for fine prints but rather logos, headings, and titles. Moreover, it covers several Unicode blocks, including Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Latin Extended-A, Latin Extended-B, and Combining Diacritical Marks. Additionally, it includes blocks for General Punctuation, Currency Symbols, Letterlike Symbols, Mathematical Operators, Private Use Area, and Alphabetic Presentation Forms. The font is officially sourced and available in TTF and OTF file formats, making it suitable for various applications.
