The XB Khoramshahr is a sharp and flowing Arabic font family based on the Nastaliq script, designed by Behnam and licensed on January 30, 2016. It is officially the trademark of Irmug and was released under the SIL Open Font License. This typeface was originally intended for Mac OS X font technology and has been totally rebuilt and extended to support various other languages, including Arabic, Persian, Uyghur, Urdu, Dari, Kurdish, Pashto, old Turkish (Ottoman), new Turkish (Roman)and Uzbek, using Microsoft Open Type (OT) technology for TrueType format and Apple Advanced Typography (AAT) technology.
