Ebhaar

Rating
5/5

Ebhaar is a bold and bubbly Arabic font designed by Mostafa El Abasiry and released on July 25, 2016. Drawing inspiration from the Ruqaa script, this font features filled and decorative letterforms with rounded edges and a condensed nature characterized by small circular zero spaces. The font also offers a huge charset comprising 310 characters and special symbols with a glyph count of 304 glyphs. Moreover, the font supports Arabic, Persian, Latin, and many other languages. Its Unicode blocks include Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Arabic Presentation Forms, and others, ensuring compatibility across various text systems and languages.

The font maintains a thick and almost constant thickness throughout, with strong strokes that enhance its visual impact. However, with only one font weight available, its adaptability may be limited. Due to its condensed and spiraling nature, this font is best suited for short-text applications. While its rounded letterforms and soft corners offer a modern and welcoming feel, its complex appearance may lower legibility, particularly at smaller sizes. Ebhaar’s distinctive look makes it suitable for design projects such as invitations, play cards, posters, and more, where its bold and bubbly aesthetic can add flair and personality to the text.
