Portada Arabic is a modern Arabic font family and icon set designed by Veronika Burian and Jose Scaglione. It is clear and legible in constrained digital contexts and warm in print. Also available in a variable font format. In addition to the other multiscript Portada languages, Portada Arabic supports Persian, Urdu, Dari, Aimaq, Dehwari, Talysh, and Qashqa’i. Portada Arabic’s capabilities are useful for digital publications, printed newspapers, your favorite novel, and all types of continuous screen reading. This family also meets many of the demands of developers, including user interfaces, data-intensive app displays, and even one-word directives and dialogs. It is a unique Arabic font designed for usage in print and digital media, particularly for large-scale, clear-screen use. Its collection includes four text styles, six display styles, two icon sets, and two changeable fonts. Moreover, it has an extensive charet of 754 characters and 814 glyphs. The font styles have wider spacing and lower contrast than the display; when printed, these subtleties provide warmth to paragraphs. Portada Arabic’s display styles make minor alterations while lowering the individual width of each character and maintaining the interior space clear, all to maintain digital clarity. This font family consists of 2 weights, including:
- Portada ARA var REGULAR
- Portada ARA var BOLD
