Sulus Unicode

Rating
5/5

Sulus Unicode is a lovely and flexible Arabic typeface based on the indigenous Thuluth or Sulus script. Thuluth is a type of Islamic calligraphy written in Arabic script. The new script included curved and oblique lines instead of Kufic’s straight, geometric outlines. It can be easily identified by its strong and graceful strokes and its great readability. Through little form modifications, Thuluth gave rise to a variety of calligraphic styles. Sulus Unicode is useful for many things, including creative writing, book titles, calligraphy, and other design-demanding texts. Even at modest sizes, it is readable. It has an extensive character set of 444 characters and a glyph count of 497 with compatibility with the latest Unicode standards. This beautiful cursive font was widely used on mosque decorations in the Middle Ages. The delicate strokes, sharp edges, and monospaced letters add to its visual appeal.
