Ara Assaf

Ara Assaf is a bold and elegant Arabic font designed by Zakariya Saleh and Abdullah Aref and released by ZakDesign. Inspired by Naskh’s calligraphy, it includes a modern design influence, featuring subtle slants and an uncluttered appearance. With 487 characters and 411 glyphs, Ara Assaf offers comprehensive language support for Arabic, Latin, Urdu, and Persian, ensuring versatility across various design projects. Its bold and consistent thickness, along with solid and impactful strokes, maintains high legibility even at smaller sizes. However, it is available only in single weight, limiting its use and flexibility.

It’s monospaced, and even spacing enhances readability, complemented by blunt corners and thin terminals, adding to its visual elegance. Best suited for short textual blocks as the text would look a little condensed and make it hard to read for longer periods.
