Dongol is a decorative handwritten Arabic font, commonly used for comic books and other fun uses. It is inspired by vintage comic books and magazines. The name Dongol comes from a character in the Mickey Mouse Comic book series. It was designed by Egyptian Typographers Abdo Mohamed and Ibrahim Hamdi and released for use under Pro Type in 2019. The font has a large character set of 602 with a glyph count of 700. It has only one weight( medium/normal) and the letters are lightweight and irregular with rough strokes, giving your text a natural handwritten look. Dongol supports various languages including Arabic, Latin, Greek, and English. Thus, making it a versatile choice for graphic designers and writers to create catch and playful texts, especially for children.
