Masjid Unicode, designed by Syed Manzar Hasan Zaidi and published by Axis Softmedia Pvt. Ltd., is a visually engaging font inspired by the intricate architecture of Masjids (mosques). Released on February 29, 2016, it features 432 characters and 497 glyphs, compatible with languages like Urdu, Arabic, Greek, Latin, and Persian. The font style of this typeface is ornate and decorative; the vertical characters resemble tall, slender minarets, while horizontal characters look like window walls with intricate geometric patterns. Dots above letters are represented by stars, just like decorative elements on mosque exteriors, while dots below letters resemble staircases leading to mosque entrances.

While visually engaging, Masjid Unicode is limited to a single font-weight (regular), which may limit its practicality. Its stroke contrasts, with thick and thin lines adding to its ornate look and feel. However, its legibility is relatively low, making it best suited for shorter text applications like branding or logos.
