Pixopedia is a TrueType Arabic font designed by a well-known Behance designer Tarek Alsawwa. It is a unique font with a very unusual pixel-like look and therefore, this type of font is also known as pixelated font. Such typefaces also known as bitmap fonts, have a distinct blocky, square-pixel look that brings back the memories of early computer graphics and video games. Each character is made up of individual square pixels, creating a different “pointy” look. It can be challenging to read at small sizes or in complex designs due to pixelation. All characters have the same width which may remind you of typewriter fonts. However, character widths may vary depending on their shape, like classic pixel fonts in games. It has a character set of 290 with a glyph count of 290. It has full support for Arabic and Latin yet in the case of Urdu, it might be missing some characters. Pixopedia captures the spirit of old-school games and pixel art projects and therefore, can be used in gaming projects, to make catchy tech-like posters and logos, and also in playful headers, depending on the nature of your project.
