Tafseer

Tafseer is a well-known Arabic font that is based on the Nastaliq script. It was crafted by Amanat Ali Goher. Nastaliq is a cursive script known to be the most elegant and attractive of all Arabic Calligraphy styles. It has vast character set of 384 and 326 number of glyphs. It has support for not only Arabic but also for Latin and Greek. Moreover, it is compatible with 11 Unicode blocks including Basic Latin, Mathematical Operators, Arabic Presentation Forms-A, General Punctuation, Currency Symbol, among others. This font is especially used for writing religious texts, making them easier to read, as they are mostly read out loud. The font have a different decorative elements and flourishes that makes it look beautiful and unique, setting it apart from regular fonts. The letters are elegantly thin with beautiful light strokes giving it a feel of Qalam writing. Moreover, the letters are generously spaced which results in high legibility. It is undoubtedly a versatile font with is clear and elegant structure, therefore, this font can be used for various purposes, from writing elegant body text in books to designing sophisticated book titles and header.
