Talat is a TrueType Arabic font that was designed by Syed Manzar Hasan Zaidi who worked for Axis Softmedia Pvt. Ltd. Thus, this font is the property of Axis Softmedia Pvt. Ltd. It has vast character set of 444 and 497 number of glyphs. It has support for not only Arabic but also for Latin and Greek. Moreover, it is compatible with 11 Unicode blocks including Basic Latin, Arabic, General Punctuation, Currency Symbol, among others. It is a non-cursive script therefore is highly readable even when displayed in smaller size. The letters are thick, wide, filled, and have sharp edges. Talat is mostly used for headlines and titles that need to be easily seen or some emphasized texts on posters or other branding purposes. However, the large, bold letters can make it difficult to read text that is more than a few sentences long.
